Event Speakers

Danielle Strickland

Danielle Strickland serves in the Salvation Army as an Officer – currently leading the social justice fight in the US and Canada. Her aggressive compassion has loved people firsthand in countries all over the world where she has embraced, served, cared for and loved those who need it most. She loves the more fragile in communities around the world. Over the years that has led her to back alleys and late night streets to partner with Jesus in rescuing those caught up in drugs and homelessness, prostitution and despair. Danielle has written six books, including her most recent, “The Ultimate Exodus.” Danielle is passionately committed to seeing God’s Kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven, is married and is the mother of three boys.

Cal Jernigan has served on the staff of Central Christian Church of Arizona since 1987, and has been the Senior Pastor since the beginning of 1999. Centrals is currently meeting on five different campuses and now averages 10,000 people each weekend. From his roots in youth ministry, Cal leads with a passion for communicating the Word of God in a relevant, timely and engaging manner. His greatest desire is to help people understand there is a God who cares deeply for them and wants to connect with them personally. Cal is a gifted leader of leaders. He believes that everyone has leadership ability and potential and he has the desire to see others develop to their full potential. Cal has been married to his wife, Lisa, for 38 years and they have two grown children and 7 grandchildren.

Caitlin Dechelle

Caitlin is an actress, stuntwoman, and World Champion Martial Artist. She began her martial arts training at age six and started competing at age nine. She enjoyed the excitement of competing and continuously perfected her skills going on to earn 88 NASKA World Titles. Competing provided her the opportunity to travel the world. Retiring from the competition circuit at 23, she is pursuing her dream as an actress. She puts her martial arts skills to work doing stunts as well.

Discovered on ESPN's US Open show, Jackie Chan summoned his team to have Caitlin join him in his next movie, Chinese Zodiac. Caitlin had a co-starring role and did her own stunts as well. Caitlin also worked on Fast and Furious 7, Supah Ninjas, Bones, Agents of Shield, John Carter & Percy Jackson - Sea of Monsters, and many other films. She doubled Gal Gadot on the recently released film Wonder Woman.

Beside her love for martial arts and acting, she also works on training and developing younger athletes. Her life word is Dedication. She currently resides in LA and when not working enjoys hanging out with her friends and family.

Bri Johns is the pastor of Central’s residency program for young church leaders (Central Leadership Institute) and oversees the School of Advanced Leadership Training (SALT) at Central. Prior to her current role Bri was a youth pastor for 15 years and is still a huge fan of teens. Bri is a regular speaker for Christ in Youth’s MOVE conference, she coaches and trains youth workers, speaks to teen and women’s groups around the nation, writes, and makes memories with her husband Jake, and two boys, Brody (5) and Deacan (4). If she had 24 hours to do anything she wanted, she would go to a luxurious spa, ALONE, with a fancy drink, chips and queso, and a book that would tell her to stop stressing out.

Central Music is made up of a team of people with a heart to worship Jesus. As a church, Central decided several years ago that they would be a church that truly leans into worship. Through Nights of Worship, Weekend Services, and writing and recording original worship songs, the heart of Central Music is to bring people into the presence of God through music.
