Prayer Events

Praying with others is a great energizer! We pray strategically for all kinds of Kingdom sized things -- the lost, the homeless, our ministries, Hollywood -- you name it. Our time together is about charging the gates of heaven for the Kingdom’s sake. It’s the kind of gathering designed to spiritually LIFT you up as you intercede for Kingdom concerns and give you a platform to the Father. Give LIFT a try! The time spent will become a highlight in your week. See the details below for your campus or for more information contact Paul Covert in the Prayer office.

Join us every Thursday (except the first of the month) at 7 p.m in the CLI Room.

The next School of Prayer (SoP) will be Sunday, September 20th, 2015 starting at 3 p.m. in the Outback at the Gilbert Campus. Each SoP is designed to teach you to pray and allows time to practice what you have learned. Held once each quarter, every School of Prayer offers a variety of topics so you can learn something new each time you attend. Register now to attend

The Threshold Intensive is a four day interactive prayer conference held every April. This event is a great venue to immerse college students and expand the breadth of church teams and or prayer leaders about prayer. The hands-on sessions delve into rigorous instruction and discussion on prayer ministry. If you are looking to transform your prayer life and or your prayer ministry, this event is sure to be the catalyst for transformational change leadership for prayer. Our most fruitful prayer leaders have found the experience invaluable and insightful.

Registration starts June 1st, 2015 for the April 2016 event.

For more information contact Paul Covert.

Our annual prayer conference features some of the world’s foremost speakers, authors and teachers on prayer. Guest speakers lead stimulating sessions to motivate and challenge participants in all phases of their prayer lives. Hear some of their teachings on our Podcasts

If your normal routine doesn’t allow much prayer time alone with God, then this option may be for you. During the cooler parts of the year we visit the Usery Mountain range, the second Saturday on the month at 7 a.m. Before dismissing, we regroup to share experiences and insights.

We are currently on hiatus for the summer and look to reconvene this fall. Register now for our October 10th event at Usery Mountain.

Registration is required. For more information contact Paul Covert for available dates and times.

Want to have alone time with God but your routine doesn't allow you to meet at Usery? Come to the Prayer Garden. Central’s Prayer Garden is on the north side of the New Life Center on the Mesa campus, across from the Global/Local Outreach offices. The garden offers a quiet place on campus for staff, members and friends to take some personal time and pray. There are six stations in the garden with inspirational meditations that change each month. It is open during daylight hours. Stop by and check it out.
